Thank You For Your Support: 200 for 100

The Bodley-Bullock House is celebrating its 200th birthday in 2014!  Please join the Junior League of Lexington as we celebrate this wonderful occasion for our beloved headquarters!

Through December 31, 2014, the League is hosting a "200 for $100" Campaign, seeking at least 200 donors who are willing to give $100 or more to the Bodley-Bullock House. Each donor will be named a member of the Bicentennial Club and be recognized on the League’s web site and in our monthly newsletter. In further recognition of their commitment to the House, each donor’s name will be engraved on a Bicentennial Club plaque that will hang in the House for years to come.

In addition to the 200 for $100 Campaign, the League hosted Bluegrass, Bourbon & BBQ:  A Bicentennial Celebration in partnership with the Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Gratz Park.  Our neighbor, the BGT's Hunt-Morgan House is turning 200 this year as well, and what better way to celebrate these two historic homes than a party on the Gratz Park lawn between them!  The event featured a live bluegrass concert on the Gratz Park lawn in front of the Carnegie Center, tours of the Hunt-Morgan House and the Bodley-Bullock House, and two Kentucky favorites -- barbeque and bourbon.  For more information about the event, click here
