Junior League of Lexington Community Grants

Each year, the Junior League of Lexington is honored to provide approximately $30,000 in funding to nonprofit organizations serving the Bluegrass community.

We fund high-impact projects that:

  • promote quality of life
  • serve a substantial number of residents in a meaningful way
  • allow for volunteer opportunities for Junior League members

*NOTE: funding has been awarded for 2024. Grant applications go live each year in the spring. Please check back for the application form and deadlines.

Proposals will be reviewed and a limited number advanced to a second round. A representative of the organization is requested to make a 10-minute presentation to the funding committee, which will be scheduled in early/mid-August.

To be eligible for a community grant, organizations must be a registered 501(c)3 in good standing and operate within Central Kentucky (Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Scott and Woodford counties).

All proposals must be submitted via the online application which will be live this spring. Please email Laura Prather with questions.
